AI transparency

You are talking to an AI
Lady is an artificial-intelligence assistant. When you talk to Lady on a store, you are talking to an AI system, and the store tells you so.
What Lady does
- Answers questions about the store's products, their versions, their prices and what is in stock, read live from the store.
- Answers questions about the store's own published policies and FAQs — shipping, returns, delivery times.
- Shows the products she is talking about as cards, adds to the cart what you chose, and opens the store's cart and checkout.
What Lady does not do
- She never takes a payment and never asks for a card number or any other payment detail. Payment happens on the store's own checkout, where she leaves you.
- She gives no medical, legal or financial advice.
- She does not keep what you say. The conversation is not stored after it ends, and what you type is not logged.
The portrait and the voice
The portrait and the voice are synthetic: the face is generated from a picture the merchant chose, the voice is synthesised.
Neither is a recording of a person talking to you. The welcome line is written by the merchant; everything after it is produced as she speaks.
How to stop
Close the widget and the conversation ends. The microphone is only on while the panel is open, and a button in the panel switches it off while you keep typing. Nothing listens when the panel is closed.
Who to write to
A question about the assistant on a particular store goes to that store, which decides what she says and does. A question about the assistant itself goes to customercare@ladyshoppingagent.com.
